About Us

The FitzInn is a family owned and operated business.  We are the Fitzgerald Family and our goal is to make your stay in Newport the best it can be.  Our home was built in 1863 and consists of three, newly renovated apartments  feature all the best modern amenities and are fully air conditioned.  While fully renovated, all efforts were made to maintaining the charm of our 1860's vintage home.

We are James, John and Judy Fitzgerald and have lived in Rhode Island for most of our lives, and Newport has always held a special place in our hearts.  Judy and John are retired and James is a computer engineer in San Francisco.

We have proudly earned the honor of AirBNB Superhosts and always strive to make every stay worthy of a 5-Star Review.  We hope to have the honor of sharing our home and beautiful town with you.
